Mother's Day
okie.
mother day.
it's a Sunday. and yet i need to wake up @ 9am.
i knew i can't wake up so early, so asked Emma to give me morning call.
ty sweetie.
ok. now what for i wake up so early. to REBOND my hair. lian n me actually made a booking to the far east - pukka salon to rebond at 11am. n so she came out with the idea to eat breakfast first b4 we go, else we will starve for 3-4 hours doing rebonding. so we met at amk head MRT at 10am, due to the slacking of me at home. and she reach at 10.15am due to the slacking of her at home too. anyway.we went to ORCHARD to eat the MAC. i just can't simply imagine myself eating MAC @ ORCHARD u know. I won't know when will be the next time.
ok. after eating, we head to the salon. and starting rebonding. while rebonding, we read magazine and play DS together. i was like ouch-ing in my mind for quite some time. my long hair gone. yes, it's gone. :( lighter and short fringe. sobsob.
hours and hours past. omg. 5 hours of rebonding. tat's kind of crazy. my legs are like so jelly by that time. and stomach kind of hungry. so do lian. we went basement to buy some taiwan snacks. the chicken la. dunno call what, with the peppers and chilli powder. kind of spicy, but not bad. after that shopshop abit. bought nothing for me.
then we head to paragon, to see if there's anything to buy for the MOTHERS. tot of flowers and macarons. but we tot of what will the MOTHERS might reply.....
if we buy flowers for them:
- grandni: so waste of money
- eng: so waste of money, but smile smile
- nancy: prob smile smile too.
- chris: happy happy smile smile
if we buy macarons for them:
- grandni: SO SWEET, not nice at all. waste $$
- eng: Quite sweet
- nancy: Kind of sweet, i oso can make one la
- chris: Yummy!

Afterwhich, I bought the "Just desserts" from Bakerinz, which cost me $40 (round up). ouch. But it teaches macarons which i interested on. we saw the macarons by the Bakerinz, so tempting. but lian say there's another one at the basement. before we went to the basement, she wanted to buy some drink from muji, but dun have.
so we head down to the basement, kind of dunno where is it. then came to this small shop, Canele, Patisserie Chocolaterie. the macarons are very nice looking. i wanted to buy. but super ex. if lian never stop me, i think i will buy. one for $2.30. ow.
after that we walked to taka basement. to continue seeing if there's any present. walked all the way in, came across this 燕窝 shop. but too expensive. =x so in the end never buy. there oso have the Bakerinz, but don't have the macarons. then lian brought me to the wisma there, cuz she said she saw the macarons very nice on the cake. and when reach, she realise eh it's the Bakerinz one. SO IN THE END, WE BOUGHT MACARONS FROM BAKERINZ. one for $. not bearing to throw the small macarons into our mouth. taste by taste, one small mouth at a time. i am able to see lian machiam fly to the heaven liao. LOL. she ate the chocolate one. while i ate the hazelnut one. mine was sticky but not that sweet. overall can try. quite nice. but i like the chocolate one.
cool. mine first taste of the macarons, made me more have the urge to learn it. it's kind of hard of course. ok. and all the way back to the MRT to meet the MOTHERS, FATHERS, and kids. we went to NP to shop first due to that hui want to buy things. then meet them to eat. then home sweet home.
