Field Support Engineer
A day onsite with my field support engineer, Sebby.
My first ever chance of being a field support engineer. Finally, ytd I had the chance of being a field support engineer, going onsite doing some stuffs.
It wasn't really counted as onsite, like setting up genies and stuffs tho.
Our main task was to carry some stuffs over to my CEO's apartment at Orchard, some isolated road street, which I simply can't remember.
We were ordered to carry 3 cartons of drinks, and an OSIM iLife Machine which CEO had bought about 5-6 of them. Having some in the office to give us fresh air, as this office’s air circulation is very bad. People get sick easily.
It was my first time to go onsite with him, as you see, my team only left me, so it was kind of hard/scary for me to go out. Still worrying on whether is it ok for me to AFO (Away from Office), I asked Sebby to ask roy for final permission first. =x
And okay. So we set off. Walking along the office path to the lift, I saw it was drizzling, so I told Sebby, it was raining you know. His reply was “We aint walking, we will be taking cabby.” So we didn’t take any umbrella. Waiting for a cab at The Adelphi lobby for less than 5 minutes.
It was kind of excited to feel the work as a field support engineer. I mean as in having to scroll outside during office hours, better than seeing three computers at the same time. So yeah. And we reached the aparment.
Previously, Sebby told me that it was a condo where you need to scan the card before you press the floor level. And the lift will open straight in the house. Cool hur. Glancing through the lobby and the lift, it was kind of old condo apartment, too far from my ideal apartment. Anyway, and yeah, I followed the instructions by him, and poof, gotten in to the apartment once the lift open.
We were in the apartment once the lift opened. The first view of mine was the kitchen, followed by the living room. Having a door near to the living room, was the bedroom with a bathroom. I wouldn’t have found out that there was a refrigerator and washing machine hiding in two of the wooden cupboards till Sebby told me. Afterall, it was cozy enough for one or two person to stay in. Although it was a bit messy, but of course, I seldom see a guy’s house so clean yeah. Nonetheless, it was nice although small. Ideal for one or two persons. Hmm.

Taken in the apartment. The lift.

The living room.

Afterwhich, we were supposed to walk to comm center but SingTel Alicia was in a meeting. So we did not managed to pass the stuffs to her. And so Sebby suggested that we walk to Cineleisure. It was raining, he said the path is quite near.
And we walked in the rain. I love walking in the rain though. Oh well, the rain somehow got heavier and heavier but not to that extreme yet. I am drenched. Especially waiting to cross the road took quite sometimes as we were in Orchard Road. Sebby was laughing. He said that he didn’t treat any girls like that before. I was laughing too cause I have never get drenched while going to Cineleisure. HAHA.
FINALLY we reached Cineleisure. Oh. I am sooo drenched.. So were he. Lol. He felt sooooo guilty. So he treated me eat some crepes after cleaning up in the toilets. Of course, I took some pics before we went to clean up. So I can blog down with EVIDENCES how “badly” he treat me HEHE.
Anyway, Sebby, Thanks for the CREPES and the RAIN. But damn. I am not sick. LOL.

Me so drenched.

Me and Sebby drenched.

Yup. And that’s my "good" experience of field support engineer. lol
