Some Maths Problem
It's been like 4 days since we last ate the cafe biz.
lol.
I have been chatting with Ms Corn over the MSN on what promotion we were having. And whether DBS CC is better or UOB CC.
On the receipt itself, it stated 2 for 1. Probably we were both messed up over at the word "2 for 1".
At first, we tot that 2 for 1 means 2 pax dines in and pay for 1 pax price. But after calculating the total price, it means 3 for 2 instead.
TILL TODAY. I then realised that 2 for 1 means 1 dines free for every 2 paying adults. Which means 3 pax? lol.
Confusing. Ok. and so. I told her that probably I am dining in to Cafe biz again with my friends.
But there is like 2 promotions on.
Promotion One: 2 for 1 (1 dines free for every 2 paying adults)Promotion Two: 3 for 1 (1 dines free for every 3 paying adults)SO I asked her if I have a number of 4 pax. Which promotions should I take?
And so we begin our calculations. If let say one pax is $50.
2 for 1.$50 x 2 = $100 (3 pax will pay $100)$100/3 = $33.33$33.33 x 3 + $50 = $150$150 / 4 = $37.50 (So overall 1 pax pay $37.50)3 for 1.$50 x 3 = $150 (4 pax will pay $150)$150 / 4 = $37.50 (So overall 1 pax pay $37.50)So it's exactly the same! Alright. In between while we were doing this calculations, Ms Corn "
balek" alot of times. She said that I make her confused. =x
And afterwhich while I am typing this post. I realised.
2for1.
We can actually used $100+$50=$150/4=$37.50. Skipping the $33.33. Lol.
Alright. End of joke. =P
That's our problem sum of the day. =x
