Pandan chiffon cake month
I guess my topic meant what im gonna post.
Been really trying hard to bake Pandan chiffon cake. A favourite among my beloveds.
Trying out recipes from recipe book and others ppl's blog too. Something secret is definitely missing or I'm doing it wrongly. Anyone want to give me some tips?
Anyway, I'm starting off with can coconut and artificial pandan flavouring and apple green coloring first. I just wan to make sure my texture is there. Don't wan to waste other ingredients.
And my coconut milk last me to be able to try to bake at least 4 times pandan cake (1 pandan butter sponge cake and 3 pandan chiffon cake).
First pandan chiffon cake was tried out from my usual bought recipe book. Taste wise is there just that my cake texture is not as soft and fluffy. :( but I got a pass for a beginner like me! Ok something to encourage me.



Second try was from online. It rise in the oven but sank when out of the oven. Totally fail I would say for myself.

Third try which is today. It's soft. But it did not rise again. A bit dense. And the taste I would say is very mild. Recipe from the second try, but I did some amendment. At least out of this 3, maybe this is better.
